On 24th February 2006, the students of Patanjali Yoga Kendra had the great opportunity to listen to the internationally-known Sarangi Player Kamal Sabri Khan, the worthy son of Sarangi Maestro Ustad Sabri Khan.

Under the tutelage of his renowned father, Kamal was trained from the very tender age of 9 years. This child prodigy made waves in the musical world with his talent. Very soon, his musical brilliance gained him immense popularity as a seasoned accompanist to eminent classical vocalists. Not one to rest on his laurels, he continues to explore the vast realm of the global music world; but at the same time, retaining the purity of the Indian Classical Music tradition.

Kamalji exhibits tremendous range and control in playing his Sarangi instrument. He filled the hearts of all the listeners with his emotional and devoted performance. We were very blessed to have such a gifted musician grace us with his musical talents.
