Came to live in Rishikesh, India,
from Tägerwilen, Switzerland. Rishikesh
is called the Yoga capital of the world and it is considered a
place of great scholars. Ever since the whole family has been
living in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas (www.omkarananda-ashram.org),
a charitable organization with more than 50 educational,
charitable and spiritual institutions. The sole purpose of
coming to India from Switzerland and living in India was to give
Siddhartha a traditional education of Vedism, as has been the family tradition. In Rishikesh he was traditionally initiated
into Hinduism and Indian Cultural Education by his father.

1986 - 1988: |
Studied from his father various
interpretations and commentaries of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

1988 - 2000: |
Educated in a very traditional
monastery called Shri Kailas Ashram Brahmavidya Peetham (An
Institute of Vedantic Research & Studies), Rishikesh, where
famous world-teachers like Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ramatirtha
and Swami Shivananda have studied (www.kailasashram.com).
Studied Vedic scriptures from Swami Vidyananda Giri ji Maharaj,
a famous traditional teacher and master, and the present (10th)
Head of the Institution which has at present over 15 Branches
all over India. Siddhartha studied traditional texts including
the Rig-veda, Vedic and Modern Sanskrit Grammar, Logic,
Nyaya,
Samkhya, Yoga and Vedanta philosophies, viz. the 10 Upanishads,
Brahma-sutra, the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras with their
commentaries, Sanskrit Literature. Also did some comparative
religious studies.

1988 - 1991: |
Learned all the 4000 aphorisms of the Ashtadhyayi
(the most ancient classical text of Sanskrit Grammar) by heart.

1994 - 1996: |
8 Upanishads learnt by heart.
|
|
1998 - 2002: |
Wrote a Sanskrit Commentary on the
4000 aphorisms of the Ashtadhyayi (the classical text of
Sanskrit Grammar). Received wonderful reviews from great scholars
like Prof. George Cardona (Linguistic Department, Pennsylvania
University, USA) and Prof. Ramayatna Shukla (Head of the
Veda-vedanga department, Benares Sanskrit University, Benares,
India). The book has been printed by Shri Kailas Ashram
Brahmavidya Peetham and has been included in its syllabus.

2002: |
6 months tour in Australia to give
teachings on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras.

Since 2004: |
Giving regular discourses on the
Yoga Sutras in Patanjala Yoga Center in Rishikesh, to students
from all around the globe.
|
|
Since 2000: |
Travelling around India to give
discourses on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Yoga
Philosophy and Hinduism.
|
|
Since April 2005: |
Appointed as an Acharya, i.e.
teacher of Hinduism/Vedism in the headquarters of Shri Kailas
Ashram Brahmavidya Peetham (An Institute of Vedantic Research &
Studies), situated in Rishikesh (www.kailasashram.com).
At present he teaches Advanced Sanskrit Grammar and Indian
Philosophy there.

All
Shri Siddhartha's training and studies have been
done from the very beginning, as still today, under
the supervision of his father Shri Prabhuji, a saint and scholar
and a world teacher. Academically Shri Prabhuji holds a master's
degree in philosophy and Ph.D. in Vedanta Philosophy. In
addition to
having studied in the traditional way from his father, as
has been the family tradition for many generations. Shri Prabhuji is also the author of many books in Hindi and English,
and has travelled in 28 countries as a Teacher of Yoga and
Vedanta. The Family has a long tradition which places a great
emphasis on practising Non-violence, adoration to all religions
and religious masters, and a firm determination to spread the
message of and promote Universal Love, World Unity, World Peace
and a better mutual understanding between various religions. |
