Lectures:
1. Lectures on the 10
Upanishads
Also called the Vedanta, the 10 Upanishads are the
final chapters of the Vedas, in which the most
sublime and the highest science of Spirituality has
been described. They are considered to be the Divine
Traditional Texts that form the backbone of Indian
Mysticism and Spirituality. Though mainly concerned
with Jnana Yoga (the Yoga of Wisdom and
Self-realization) the Upanishads still mention Raja
Yoga in various places briefly, which can be taken
as the most ancient account of Raja Yoga.
The term Upanishad literally means "the Supreme
Wisdom that unites the individual souls with the One
Supreme Soul".
Only confined to some great traditional scholars
until now, these ancient texts are now being taught
in Patanjala Yoga Kendra to the Yoga Students, so
that they can understand the most ancient
traditional view of Yoga.
2. Lectures on the Shrimad
Bhagavad Gita
This ancient text of India is one the most famous
and widely translated text in today's world. This
Divine Scripture beautifully describes all the
different systems and thoughts of Yoga, and is in
itself a beautiful synthesis of all of them. Thus it
is again one of the greatest and most authoritative
texts on Yoga.
The name of the text literally means, "Divine Song
sung by the Lord".
Lectures are regularly conducted on the Shrimad
Bhagavad Gita so that the Yoga students can be fully
acquainted with all the different types of Yoga and
have a comprehensive outlook of all the different
classical thoughts related to Yoga.
