Omkarananda Ganga Sadan

Is a beautiful guest house in Rishikesh (Muni-ki-Reti), right on the banks of Ganga with a picturesque view of the holy river and the surrounding hills. These serene setting provides the perfect lodging for yoga students or groups; special accommodation arrangements are available for Yoga-groups. 

The guest house contains a most beautiful and prestigious Yoga Studio, complete with  sophisticated props and other equipment. These props play a central role in the method of Iyengar Yoga. They help the practitioner to execute the pose correctly and to understand the mechanics of the pose easily. They support the body in the asanas in such a way that the pose can be done in a passive or an active way depending upon the student's needs.

Guest House Book/Gift Store

The Guest House Store offers a selection of  books on yoga and philosophy, as well as selected gifts such as weavings, candles and soft toys, which are made by the inmates of Tihar Jail in Delhi, and other items of interest.

Omkarananda Public Ghat

The Omkarananda Public Ghat covers a large area in front of and adjacent to Omkarananda Ganga Sadan. It is built out of glittering, shining white marble. This beautiful Ghat is always kept neat and clean and is a delight to the eye. It provides an easy approach to the holy Ganga. Daily offerings of prayers (with Arati and flowers) to the holy Ganga enhance the pious and peaceful atmosphere of the Ghat.
